We are a group of people without religious affiliations, attempting to respond to the plight of abandoned and impoverished children. We have a dream: to create villages where children are able to express their potential, go to school, enjoy sports and leisure activities, and have a safe, happy childhood. Villages where children are not just the recipients of charity but are able to grow up with the aim of becoming self-supporting and enjoying economic and cultural independence. Another of our dreams is to ensure that as many as possible of Madagascar’s undernourished children receive one square meal a day. After just 7 years we have created various residential centres for orphans, schools and school feeding centres. We have now begun the construction of the first self-supporting village. We began in 2001; now we are no longer just a few .... IN ITALY 600 sponsors, occasional donors and various supporters. 30 volunteers working across Italy and some abroad (Holland and France). Mario Sangiovanni provides help and support in the establishment of the centres. |
